For scheduled appointments, payment is usually taken when the seller confirms the booking (or at call start, depending on the seller's settings). For instant or per-minute calls, a hold may be placed on your wallet when you join, and you're billed for the actual duration after the call ends. If you or the seller disconnect briefly, there is often a short grace period before billing stops. You can see the rate (per minute or fixed) on the seller's profile before you book.
